For visitors to Cape Coral, Florida this fall. The local Coconut Festival is returning and it will be held November 9 through the 11th at the Sun Splash Festival Grounds. The festival is estimated to draw over 30,000 people and features music, carnival rides, and booths. This year the rock band .38 Special will be the Headliner and they will perform on November 10th. It's final. Cape Coral City Council has voted to move forward with the SW6/7 utilities expansion project. This project will affect residents living in the SW6/7, North 1 and North 2 areas. It will include an extension of the water, sewer and irrigation lines to this area and also provide new roads. Tetra Tech will be the design and engineering firm managing the project. It is important to note that this is not the same engineering firm that handled the prior utilities expansion.

According to reports published by the Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) and the Breezenewspaper.com, traffic through the terminal showed a 1.7 percent increase over the same time period June to July 2011. Additionally, Page Field had an increase of 16 percent from this time last year.
